Our laboratory, accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, offers testing in accordance with the following:
Harmonized product standards:
• Roadside noise barriers in accordance with EN 14388:2005/AC:2008
• Skylights in accordance with EN 1873:2005
• Plastic roof skylight strips according to EN 14963:2006
• Windows and doors according to EN 14351-1:2006+A2:2016
• Single-pane glass according to EN 572-9:2004
• Multi-pane insulating glass according to EN 1279-5:2018
• Laminated glass in accordance with EN 1449:2005
Testing requirements:
• Measurement of airborne sound insulation in accordance with DIN EN ISO 10140-1, 2, 4, 5 and evaluation in accordance with DIN EN ISO 717-1 or DIN EN 1793-2 (see also EN 12758)
• Measurement of impact sound insulation according to DIN EN ISO 10140-1, 3, 4, 5 and evaluation according to DIN EN ISO 717-2
• Measurement of sound absorption in reverberation rooms according to DIN EN ISO 354 and evaluation according to DIN EN ISO 11654 or DIN EN 1793-1

Recognition as a testing body under the State Building Code (PÜZ body):
In addition to its European notification, Kiwa GmbH, Soundlab Aachen, is a testing body recognized under Section 25, Paragraph 1, Item 1 of the North Rhine-Westphalia State Building Code (NRW73) for the issuance of general building inspection test certificates.
