Protection of dangerous devices
The protection of so-called dangerous appliances is an important part of the protection of Dutch drinking water. Due to the nature of the liquids contained in these appliances, they can pose a risk to the drinking water in the installation to which they are connected.
Hazardous devices that occur are therefore assessed; the assessment is aimed at identifying the risk and prescribing appropriate security. In the performance of their statutory audit task, drinking water companies then check whether the correct security is indeed in place. More information can be found at infodwi.nl.
