Kiwa: Bridging Conventional and Renewable Energy Sources
Since the early 2000s, as market interest in renewable energy grew, Kiwa Italia dedicated itself to the certification of products for the solar sector, establishing a laboratory in Legnano (MI), which was later expanded to Cormano (MI). Over the years, it became a reference point for testing and certification activities on: Photovoltaic and Thermal Solar Panels, Thermophotovoltaics, Inverters, Solar Thermal Collectors and Boilers, Renewable Generators, and Grid Connections.
Kiwa's commitment to renewable energy was further confirmed in 2019 with the acquisition of Moroni & Partners, one of the largest energy engineering firms in Italy. This acquisition completed Kiwa's service portfolio in the renewable energy sector, offering Energy Engineering, Technical Advisory, and Asset Management services.
The acquisition of Moroni & Partners strengthened Kiwa's position in the energy sector by acquiring new skills, resources, and expertise for both national and international development, while also emphasizing Kiwa's growth strategy in the field of renewable and alternative energy.
