The totally new test instruments, interconnected by IoT and aligned with the most recent versions of the standards, guarantee reliability and precision in the conduct of tests, without gaps in continuity and under the competent control of Kiwa technicians.

The wide range of laboratory tests allows the manufacturer Water&Gas to find in Kiwa the only interlocutor for every type of critical issue related to the products, from the thermo-hydraulic to those for transport, distribution and draining, thanks to a local testing laboratory that provides the keys to access to global markets.

Our laboratory Tests

Pressure tests

Execution of various pressure tests, from resistance to internal pressure according to ISO 1167, to the determination of regression curves according to ISO 9080.

Life cycling tests

Thermal cycle resistance tests (TCT) for thermo-hydraulic systems at different temperatures and pressures according to UNI EN ISO 19893 and high temperature cycle resistance tests for drains according to UNI EN ISO 13257.

Mechanical tests

From impact tests even at low temperatures (Round-the-clock and staircase method) according to UNI EN ISO 11173 and UNI EN ISO 3127 to ring stiffness and flexibility tests according to UNI EN ISO 9969 and UNI EN ISO 13968. From creep tests according to UNI EN ISO 9967 to resistance to gas constituents and operating temperatures, as required by UNI 11344.

Characterization tests

Among the characterization tests available, worthy of note are the MFR according to UNI EN ISO 1133, OIT and DSC according to UNI EN ISO 11357 and UNI EN 728, determination of the degree of cross-linking according to UNI EN ISO 10147 and softening temperature VICAT according to UNI EN ISO 2507 and UNI EN ISO 306.
