Demeter is the oldest organic association in Germany. The key term in the way Demeter products are produced is "biodynamic according to anthroposophical principles". This production method goes beyond the requirements of the EU organic regulation because of its focus on a living circular economy. Internationally, Demeter is a household name on all continents when it comes to sustainable and organic agriculture. We are therefore happy to carry out Demeter inspections for you, also internationally.

Demeter Certification with Kiwa BCS Öko-Garantie GmbH:

To be able to initiate Demeter certification, your business first needs certification in accordance with the current EU organic regulation. This is the basis for all further organic association certification. An inspection according to the requirements for Demeter certification is possible in the course of the state EU organic inspection as a so-called "combined inspection", or independently of your annual inspection.

First, you contact the association, which places the inspection order with Kiwa BCS. We then take care of the scheduling and the inspection, after which Demeter evaluates the inspection report and makes the certification decision.
