Certification and inspection of wood based elements
Kiwa provides CE certification of wood-based panelling and claddings according to EN 14915 including fire-protected wooden panels. Kiwa is also specialized to certify wood-based elements according to some EADs (CE-marking).

Certification of wooden products guarantees the product requirements of the building authorities and the fire regulations.
Certification includes a needed initial inspection and continuous surveillance of the producer. In the case of fire-protected wooden panels, separate fire testing is needed carried out by an accredited or a notified testing laboratory.
Fire protected panels and claddings will be certified according to the European harmonized CE-marking standard EN 14915:2013 Solid wood panelling and cladding (that includes characteristics, evaluation of conformity and marking).
