T 031 Technical note (Belgium market)

The T 031 consists of the general requirements for testing security products including its requirements of the EN 50131. This technical note is intended to check the requirements of the EN 50131 series completely and in this technical note additional requirements are supplemented.

This technical note applies to all the different types of components used as part of an intrusion alarm system installed in a building.

Manufacturers or distributors of security (intruder of hold-up) products who want to bring such a product on the Belgium market.

Only with a certificate it can be proved that a component used as part of a intrusion alarm system is compliant to the relevant EN 50131 standard and in addition for the Belgium market the T 031 Technical note. Normally a INCERT certificate for the T 031 part will be issued after the testing has been successfully completed. A certificate for this product provides you market access specific for the Belgium market.
