Course introduction

Pests are bad news in any food handling environment and can result in serious consequences if not managed appropriately. The effective management of your pest control contractor establishes a diligent approach and partnership, between the pest control provider and your business.

The person responsible for managing pest control should be suitably trained. This course will also appeal to those responsible for auditing pest control activities in their own, or suppliers, sites.

An industry standard professional qualification, such as the BPCA’s RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management, is advised if you are planning to become your own pest control/management provider. Whilst these courses are an excellent supplement, they shouldn’t be considered a substitute for an industry standard professional qualification.

Who is this course for?
