Oil Boiler Testing
Kiwa provides a testing service for oil boilers.
We test oil boilers (of up to 100kW capacity) to BS-EN 304 (Determination of the performances of heating boilers and combi boilers fired by liquid fuels).
Testing includes efficiency, emissions and safety testing.

Our regular work covers OFTEC approvals, efficiency testing under the EcoDesign regulation, life testing of components and oil-fired products and general consultancy on anything to do with oil-fired appliances. We have long been a centre of expertise when it comes to burning oil safely.
In addition to our core activities, we provide a suite of oil related services such as annual surveillance as required by the Boiler Efficiency Directive, oil tank quality inspections, and assessment of level probes and alarms.
OFTEC approval is advised for oil-fired appliances, tanks and components. We are accredited by OFTEC to conduct approvals.
