What experience do I need to become a HETAS dry stove installer?
You need relevant experience within the construction industry including allied trades such as plumbing and heating installation.
Successful completion of this course allows you to register with HETAS and notify installations of dry solid fuel appliances in residential properties.
What are the HETAS dry stove installer entry requirements?
- Demonstrable, appropriate previous work experience on dry stove installations
- OFTEC technician with scope of work categories 101, 102 or 105e
- Registered Gas Safe operative with work categories CCN1 and HTR1
- Registered member of GOMCS, APICS, or NACS
- NVQ 2 or 3 in Plumbing

Dry Stove Refresher H003R Training
If you are a HETAS-registered Dry Stove Installer and you have come to the end of the 5 year life of your current qualification, then our H003 training and assessment package is for you.

Service and Maintenance H009 Training
This HETAS-certified course covers the service and maintenance of solid fuel stoves

Wet Stove Installer H004 Training
This HETAS-certified course is for any person with plumbing and heating qualifications and who has successfully completed the H003 course.
