Cyber Security Training

A class that listens to the teacher

People are an essential part of digital ecosystems. To be properly prepared against and aware of cyberthreats it’s important that employees are properly trained and informed. It’s also good to test or exercise their knowledge and awareness. At Kiwa we offer several types of trainings to increase the awareness and knowledge regarding cyberthreats.

Training your employees to recognise cyberthreats reduces the risk of successful cyberattacks caused by human error. For example phishing, social engineering or weak passwords chosen by an employee. To develop the knowledge, skills and awareness of your employees Kiwa offers several training courses, from one-day workshops and seminars to extended tailor-made programmes.

Proper human interactions with technology are one of the main pillars for adequate cyber security. Regular cyber security training on various topics is an indispensable tool for keeping people aware of the different and ‘situation-specific’ cyber security risks and threats. Cyber security training comes in different shapes and form. From general trainings to raising the cyber security awareness of employees, we understand the importance of well-trained people. These trainings are in Dutch:

Cyber security awareness training

Here we train your employees in such a way that they become more aware of common cyber security threats. Phishing for example, is one of the major security threats to businesses and organisations. With adequate awareness levels your employees will be much less susceptible to person targeted cyber-attacks.

IEC 62443 Training

The IEC 62443 is an important standard for Operational Technology (OT) Environments and enterprises. Depending on your role in the industry, knowledge of the IEC 62443 can be beneficial to protect your assets, business or organisation against cyberthreats and attacks. Regarding the IEC 62443 we offer training courses on different levels. From general concepts to in-depth training on this topic, Kiwa and Hudson Cybertec (Part of Kiwa Group) offer an appropriate training course.

CSIR Training

The Cyber Security Implementation Guideline (CSIR) is a guideline developed by Dutch government body Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management (Rijkswaterstaat) for cyber security in road and water infrastructure. Hudson Cybertec (Part of Kiwa Group) offers a hands-on workshop explaining this guideline. As a result, participants get to know the guideline and gain a good understanding of how they can apply it in practice in projects they carry out for Rijkswaterstaat.
