What is BRL 6300?

The BRL 6300 is an important standard for ensuring the quality of products used in plastic piping systems. This BRL, in combination with the 'applicable' BRL, contains detailed requirements that products and their production processes must meet to ensure they are suitable for use in drinking water installations, sewer systems and other applications involving plastic pipes.

  Regular external audits and inspections ensure that the products continuously meet the specified requirements.
• Requirements for the certification body
  The institutions that issue certifications, such as Kiwa, must meet strict criteria to ensure the reliability and independence of the certification.

The field of plastic piping systems encompasses several product groups, each managing a number of BRLs. BRL 6300 is managed by the Board of Experts – Plastic Piping Systems (CvD-LSK). Whenever a BRL within the field of plastic piping systems is revised, the general parts will refer to BRL 6300.
