
Physical inspection
You wish to call on Vinçotte Controlatom (member of Kiwa Group) for the radiation protection of your personnel, the public and your environment. This implies that you entrust us with the physical control tasks for your establishment authorized for ionizing radiation sources. The task of physical inspection is described in the Royal Decree of 20/07/2001, more precisely in Article 23. This legislation also covers all the operator's other duties relating to the radiation protection of personnel, the facility, the public and the environment. The department's physical control experts also comply with current international standards (ADR, ICRP, IAEA, etc.) and the recommendations and decisions of the Federal Nuclear Control Agency (AFCN).

What you need to know
- Advice from a certified physical control expert
The certified expert will help you to optimize radiation protection for all concerned parties (*), with a minimum of effort.

Our certified expert inspects the delimitation of controlled zones, carries out measurements to verify radiation dose and contamination, checks safety measures, etc. on your installations.
In addition, he or she monitors administrative aspects (approvals, authorizations, procedures, inventory, etc.), advises on and approves new practices.
Your certified expert determines dose on the basis of dosimetry data, and monitors operational and legal dose limits. - Training courses
The necessary training in radiation protection can also be provided by Vinçotte Controlatom's experts. These experts often have many years' experience in providing training in radiation protection, and in this context use the knowledge acquired by Vinçotte Controlatom in all areas of radiation protection. They also have a keen sense of pedagogy and adapt to the target audience. - Results and output
