Kiwa’s e-learning Compliance Essentials: Cybersecurity under the RED consists of several chapters, each covering specific topics. It begins with an introduction to product compliance, including the New Legislative Framework and CE marking, followed by an in-depth view on the Radio Equipment Directive (RED). The course also addresses cybersecurity in the context of the RED Delegated Act (articles 3.3 d/e/f) and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).

Target audience

This e-learning is intended for anyone involved in the design, development, manufacturing or marketing of radio and/or wireless communication products that must comply with RED requirements and general EU legislation regarding product compliance. This includes compliance and product managers, distributors/sellers of radio products, design, compliance and test engineers and manufacturers. 

Level

This concerns a training at MBO level. No specific prior knowledge is required to follow the e-learning.

Completing the e-learning Compliance Essentials: Cybersecurity under the RED takes approximately 120 minutes (the total study load is 2 hours).

Study material

Participants gain access to Kiwa's digital learning environment upon registration. The e-learning will remain available for 6 months.

The goal of this e-learning is to provide participants with insights into product compliance, the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) and the role of cybersecurity within this directive. They will learn about the New Legislative Framework, CE marking and specific regulations such as the RED Delegated Act and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), to ensure the safety and compliance of their products in the EU market.
